We are S2-03 Group D, the group consists of Thomas (Leader), Nyi Nyi (Multimedia), Julian (communication), Sai (Research) and Clarie (Research). The research objective we are working on is how stress among adolescent students in Singapore. According to Center for Adolescent Health (2006), teen stress is an important, yet often overlooked, health issue. It is said that most teens face stress from puberty, changing relationships with peers, demands of school, and responsibilities to their families. The way in which teens cope with this stress can have significant short- and long-term consequences on their physical and emotional health. Difficulties in handling stress can lead to mental health problems, such as depression. This research aims to find out what are the contributing factors, symptoms and effects of stress among adolescents in Singapore as well as ascertain some avenues from which stressed adolescents can help.
